RS-232 / RS-422 / RS-485 Interface ICs

RS-232 / RS-422 / RS-485 Interface ICs are used in the network applications. These protocols are used for serial communication and although they are very similar they have several differences that distinguish each of them. RS-232 is a full duplex single ended mode communication protocol widely used in computer serial interface peripherals. RS-485 and RS-422 are half duplex and full duplex, respectively, differential mode communication protocols most commonly used when the communication distance is large.
