Description
The V Y025 comprises exceptionally adaptable vortex flowmeter. It quantifies the flow rate of liquids, gases, and steam by assessing the Karman vortex street generated behind the shedder bar. Vortex flowmeters are adaptable instruments capable of measuring liquids, gases, and steam throughout a broad spectrum of temperatures and pressures. The benefits provided by this form of flowmeter render it more appropriate than other types for measuring steam flow. The vortex flowmeters of Yokogawa’s V Y Series provide a broad measurable flow range of up to 400mm in connection size, with capabilities to measure fluids at elevated temperatures of up to 450° C and high pressures of up to A S M E Class 1500.
